Labor Day, Snakes, Tomorrow's Memory's and Hackers

A preview of upcoming events for the week in Stamford.

It looks like the weather for the week in Stamford kicks off in the low 80s with some isolated thunderstorms through Tuesday. Dropping into the low to mid-70s through the rest of the week, at least the sun is expected to return. You can check the high and low tide schedules using these tide charts.

Monday is Labor Day!

The 6th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk takes place Monday at the Stamford JCC starting at 9 a.m. 

Hacker Night returns to the Stamford Innovation Center Tuesday night at 5 p.m.

On Wednesday, the Mayor's Gallery debuts "Tomorrow's Memory," featuring the works of Paul Larson to run through November 1. A reception is scheduled for September 12. 

The Stamford Museum & Nature Center gets slithery with its Break Out Day: Year of the Snake! celebration. Starting at 11 a.m., children can learn about the 14 species of snake that call Connecticut home.
