Visions for Vacancies: 900 Bedford Street

We examine buildings in the Stamford community not living up to their full potential to see what the community would like to see spring up there.

Vacant buildings are a problem for a community. Patch wants to know what you think the solution can be.

In our occasional series Visions for Vacancies, we look at vacant businesses and buildings in Stamford and surrounding areas to see what our readers want to see move into their community.

Today, we’re looking at 900 Bedford Street, seen on on PyramidREGroup.com, right in the heart of Downtown Stamford. It sits directly across the street from the Stamford Police Station and adjacent to community staple Bedford Street Diner. It's in easy walking distance to Stamford's thriving shopping and nightlife scene that stretches along Bedford St.

The building is a three-story bank of 12,360—4,120 square feet per room—square on 18,730 square feet of land priced at $2,350,000, according to Pyramid RE Group, who also stated the building was constructed in 1966. The building is located in a Community-Business Zone.
