The Wolf Conservation Center Visits

Interested in Learning about Wolves? The Wolf
Conservation Center will be at Village Critter Outfitter to educate the public
on the lives of wolves.

Village Critter
Outfitter is hosting an environmental education event to learn about the local
wolf conservation efforts.  On Saturday April 27th, the Wolf Conservation
Center will be visiting.

The Wolf Conservation
Center (WCC), founded in 1999 by Hélène Grimaud, is a private, not-for-profit
environmental education organization located in South Salem, NY. The WCC’s
mission is to promote wolf conservation by teaching about wolves, their
relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future.

“We’re happy to host
the Wolf Conservation Center and give them a venue to speak about local wolf
conservation” explained Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter.
“If it weren’t for great organizations like the Wolf Conservation Center,
wolves in this region would not be around for future generations to admire.”

The award winning
Village Critter Outfitter has been serving Connecticut with the finest
selection of pet supplies and clothing, while caring for the community’s animals.

The event takes place
on April 27th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry
Street. For more information, visit www.VillageCritterOutfitter.com or call the store at 203-972-7000.
