Hey Stamford, your weather outlook for today is a partly-cloudy high near 76 with showers early then afternoon thunderstorms. At the Ferguson Library, you can check out the film Rust and Bone, presented by the Andrew Gale Film Series. The film is about a single father who helps a whale trainer recover from a terrible accident. 

The Farmer's Market at the High Ridge Shopping Center is open again today, starting at 10 a.m. With summer in its dwindling months, there's precious little time to enjoy some locally-grown produce, so make sure to get out there before it's gone for the season. 

In local government happenings, the WPCA Technical Board Committee and the Environmental Improvement District Board both have meetings.  

Today is the "blind" wine tasting class at Barcelona, where participants taste wines not blindfolded, but with no prior knowledge of the offerings. 

At the Avon Theater, check out Documentary Night with a screening of Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me, a film about the band Big Star, who has been cited as an influence for bands ranging from REM, The Replacements, Belle & Sebastian, Elliot Smith and Flaming Lips.
