Patricia Williams, Neighbor

Born and raised in Stamford CT, currently studying at the University of Bridgeport majoring in both HR Management & Psychology. Patricia worked as an HR Professional employed by several Fortune 500 companies within the past 10 years. While working as the Senior HR Generalist or Executive Recruiter Patricia began to struggle with her inner passions of helping others, and wanted to have more of a positive presence within her community. Although the field of Human Resources provided her with the tools to thrive in the corporate world, she humbly walked away in 2010 to peruse what she now considers as her "LIFE WORK". 

Patricia created MsResourceful over 8 years ago, which promotes self-enrichment, independence and provides members of all Fairfield County Communities with the tools to re-establish their lives. Over the years she’s established phenomenal relationships with many influential individuals and businesses that share her passion and are dedicated to the progression and rebuilding of our communities.

 All though growing up in Stamford was no easy journey, through it all, the tenacity, the drive to succeed, the responsibility to uphold the legacy of those that raised her flowed rigorously and motivated her to move in a leap of faith.  At age 35 the inner chaos is quiet, the Community Activist and philanthropist has emerged.

Currently Patricia is serving as the Program Director for Service For Peace Inc, Fairfield County, CT-USA.

Connecting People to Peace through Service - Service For Peace is an independent nonprofit organization providing service and learning opportunities through community projects which promote transformational and sustainable personal and community development around the world. We bring together people and partners of diverse faiths, ethnicities, nationalities, generations, and cultures to address profound social needs by discovering commonality and genuine appreciation for differences – all through service. We believe that peace begins with the inner peace fostered by service to others and that active cooperation provides the foundation and the real hope for peace.
