Burt Williamson is the Retirement Strategist at PlanPrep, LLC. He has helped thousands of Baby Boomers and business owners across the country to plan effectively for their retirement years.

He launched PlanPrep in 2006, which is his independent and virtual financial planning firm.

Burt grew up in his family’s iconic interior design business in Old Greenwich, CT, where he learned to help clients love and enjoy their homes for years to come by tailoring everything to their unique tastes.

His father, Fred Williamson, Jr., had the conviction that Burt needed to learn the business from the ground up. His dad had him work with a variety of contractors over the years to learn their unique crafts. This helped Burt refine his communication and specification skills.

Applying the same disciplined approach to financial planning has enabled Burt to build his knowledge and skill set to provide exceptional advice for retirement planning.

In fact, a number of advisors from around the country have hired Burt to provide his invaluable advice to their clients over the years.

Burt is a Certified Financial Planner TM with an economics degree from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. GO Huskies!
