The Mead School is an independent and progressive childcare center and school for children ages 2 through grade 8.…More Founded in 1969, Mead combines a traditional academic curriculum with expressive arts in order to allow children "to create a personally meaningful life."</p> <p>The childcare program is open from September to August and accommodates children from six weeks to 5 years. Full-time and part-time options are available. The elementary/middle school offers half-day classes for children ages 2 and 3 and a full-day academic program for grades K through 8.</p> <p>Mead recently started a My Child and Me program, which offers enrichment classes that foster interaction and bonding between parent and child.
