Admission to AITE is based on an application and lottery system.</p> <p>AITE combines traditional academic courses with technology training, and students have the opportunity to earn industry certification, college credit and paid corporate internships.</p> <p>Although AITE has a focus on information technology, engineering and architecture, students still benefit from a broad selection of courses, including Advanced Placement. The entire faculty and student body are given laptops in order to fully integrate technology into the curriculum.</p> <p>AITE shares an auditorium with Rippowam Middle School but has its own cafeteria, library and health center.</p>
