Westhill High School
203-977-4477
Opened in 1971, Westhill is one of three public high schools that serve the city of Stamford. Known as the "home of the Vikings," Westhill offers students an academic curriculum that includes 14 Advanced Placement courses and a variety of special programs such as the Army Junior ROTC and the Arts Career Academy. The campus includes a gymnasium, pool, media center, health center and the Allyson Rioux softball field.
Westhill also offers its students access to various sports teams, including football, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, tennis and lacrosse. The school colors—purple and gold—and the school's Viking mascot are both borrowed from the Minnesota Vikings, who were among the dominant teams in the newly merged AFL-NFL league at the time of the school's opening.

I am very impressed with the Patch.com I wrote the review before about the mistakea I found in the article about Westhill. The Next day the Regional Mang for the Patch E-mailed me thanksed me for pointing it out and made sure that the corrections were done. Very Responsible and Well done.
WOW Could you get your facts anymore wrong!!!
I mean in the article you called Westhill the home of the Knights!!!
Try home of the Vikings which is weird that you would say that since you acknowledge the Vikings in the article but you failed to find the connection. Further the Viking Mascot while its true was borrowed from the Minnasota Vikings the Minnisota Vikings Firt season was in the early 1960's not in 1971. The City of Stamford CT High schools
All use a warrior as their mascots
The Stamford High KNIGHTS
The Trinty Catholic CRUSADERS
The Westhill VIKINGS
Even the Closed Rippowam High School Nickname was the WARRIORS
Last point The field that honors Allyson Rioux is a softball field not the baseball field
Suggestion try and do a little research before you print
