The Long Ridge School

Founded in 1938, The Long Ridge School is an independent school in North Stamford that offers students in pre- nursery school through grade 5 a private education in a smaller classroom setting. Each grade is divided into two-year age groupings so that students spend two years with the same teacher as opposed to one, thus offering more individualized instruction and attention. Spanish language education begins in kindergarten and students are also exposed to numerous math, science, art and computer classes. Long Ridge is situated on 14 acres of land that include a playground, two athletic fields, a garden and three pools.
