Rosetta Stone
As a small Stamford Town Center kiosk (located near the Grand Court in front of M.A.C.), Rosetta Stone does the big job of quickly teaching millions to speak foreign languages. Founded in 1992, the business is named after the ancient Egyptian artifact (the inscriptions of which helped modern researchers decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics)—and from the mall kiosk, customers can purchase tutorials of various languages, plus accessories like their USB headset with microphone.
