A popular, family-owned pizzeria at the corner of West Avenue and Selleck Street, Outpost has put Stamford on the map when it comes to pizza. Using only Grande cheese on its specialty thin-crust pizza, the bakers at Outpost also use a 40-year-old, Brooklyn-based pizza sauce recipe for their pies. The menu includes fried calamari with marinara sauce and lemon, baked ravioli in alfredo sauce and Maria's Salad (fresh spinach, caramelized walnuts, sautéed onion, gorgonzola and dried cranberries).
