Northeast Elementary School

Northeast Elementary School is one of 12 public elementary schools serving the city of Stamford. Its curriculum is based on the Responsive Classroom philosophy, which focuses on respecting the children and in turn having them respect each other, and serves its diverse group of students with a large bilingual program. Northeast takes advantage of its proximity to the Stamford Historical Society and the Stamford Nature Center by using these institutions to further enhance its curriculum.
