Modell's Sporting Goods

A strong presence in the Stamford community, Modell's runs a program called the Team Weeks Program, providing coupons for Modell's to local schools, Little League teams, football leagues and other local sports organizations. Five percent of the money made from the teams goes back to the teams. The local branch of the nationwide store also organizes golf tournaments, a fall sports fundraiser each year and sponsors local teams. As for the store, it is home to athletic apparel and footwear for both team and individual sports.
