<p>Located on the eighth floor of the Stamford Government Center, the Department of Health and Social Services has a mission to "provide both information and services for ongoing health and social service issues and information on up-to-the-minute information on current and pressing health and social service issues."</p> <p>The department operates various divisions, including the Environmental Health Division, HIV Prevention Services, Laboratory Division, Nursing Division, Senior Health Services Division, Social Services Division, Stamford CARES, Student Health Services of Stamford and the WIC Division.</p>
