Irish Dance, Live Green Connecticut!, Dojo Dash 5K

At 42 Magee Avenue, bring your kids to the LYNN Academy of Irish Dance for a free tryout class at 10 a.m. It's a 45-minute beginners class from Instructors who performed on America's Got Talent. 

In neighboring Norwalk, the Live Green Connecticut! family-friendly community festival is taking place on Taylor Farm Park at 45 Calf Pasture Beach Road starting at 10 a.m. It will feature pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, live music, SoundWaters and Creatures from the Sea exhibit, Nature Center exhibits, food, beverages, the Ford Go Further Tour, electric cars and fun for the entire family! Admission is free. 

The 2nd Annual Dojo Dash 5K Walk/Run takes place Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Westhill High School track. The event raises money for the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps returning men and women in the military.
