Annual Early Childhood Fair Coming to Stamford's Chelsea Piers

This Saturday, the Sixth Annual Early Childhood Fair will come to Chelsea Piers Connecticut, the mayor's office announced Thursday.

Brought to the Piers through the efforts of the Stamford Early Childhood Collaborative and city officials, Mayor Michael Pavia said the fair is a free event that features hands-on activities for young children, including a Touch-a-Truck, face painting and and performances by children’s performers The Bossy Frog, The Amazing Andy and The Pender-Keady Academy of Irish Dancers.

"The Early Childhood Fair is a great event for young children and their families," said Pavia. "This event highlights the importance of early childhood education for young children and provides families with information on the many resources available to them in the city. It also reinforces my desire to continuously bring volunteer community agencies together to foster good things in our community."

Also available will be information about resources throughout the Stamford community, including preschool and kindergarten registration. The fair kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Chelsea Piers CT, located at the end of Blachley Road.
