Look Here for Lots of Fun Things to Do for a Great Week in Stamford

It looks like the weather for the week in Stamford starts off in the low 70s but jumps to the high 70s by Tuesday and peaks in the low 80s on Wednesday before slowly declining to the low 70s by next weekend. On Monday, explore the new Mill River Park with the Stamford JCC at 11:15 a.m. Join the group for a free walking tour that examines a park 100 years in the making. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!

On Tuesday, join the Bartlett Arboretum's Master Gardeners for a Sunprint Workshop. Gather and flatten some of your own garden pieces from home to bring to the class!

Fairfield County's Community Plates is hosting a Night to End Hunger in Stamford Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Loading Dock. The event features some of the area's newest restaurants. Check out ticket details here

On Thursday night, join the second-annual Ladies Night of Glitter & Glam to Save Second Base hosted at Nagi Jewelers to benefit the Bennett Cancer Center in Stamford. "Preview our new fall Collections, experience the shamanic healing powers of Eve Kerwin, Tarot Readings, and fabulous fare as always."

There's a number of events at the Ferguson Library to close out September and ring in October, so be sure to check the calendar for items that interest you.

For city government goings-on, there's quite a bit this week. There's all kinds of stuff going on Monday, with lots of committee meetings for the Board of Representatives.
