Welcome PatchWorks to Stamford

Patch is proud to announce the launch of PatchWorks, a new neighborhood platform that can help you raise money and recruit volunteers.

Through PatchWorks, your neighbors can create, share and celebrate local projects and causes with the community.

The platform allows participants to recruit and sign up volunteers, collect money online and set up ways to collect donations.

Check out the first local projects to be supported by PatchWorks:

  • New Neighborhoods, Inc (NNI) is a non-profit that services the needs of low income tenants in Stamford. They have laptop computers, community rooms, big screen TV's, wireless internet, kitchens and libraries and even a commercial grade exercise machine at one of out sites, but lack staffing. NNI is seeking 10 volunteers to share their interests and talents with tenants. 
  • STAR Relief Pet Food Pantry has raised $100 through PatchWorks to further mission is to provide medical care, temporary homes, and emergency shelter to pets whose caretakers are struggling with economic hardship. STAR runs a pet food pantry to help owners keep their pets in these tough times.
