Give me a good sword fight any day.

Fencing is an exciting ,Olympic sport of sword-fighting. You use footwork and handwork to score touches on your opponent with your blade. There are three weapons in fencing: the Foil, Epee and Sabre.

Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity. Under the guidance of an Olympic coach Stamford, Greenwich and Darien have its first fully-equipped fencing club.

Stamford Fencing Center is a fencing club dedicated to supporting and providing the growth, participation and development of fencers at all levels. Fencing, despite contrary beliefs, is a very safe sport. The odds of attaining a serious injury is extremely low, when properly attired. The sport provides excellent cardiovascular exercise. There is a great deal of emphasis placed on rapid, precise footwork, as well as quick blade movements. As a result of regular training, fencers often experience general improvements in hand-eye coordination, balance, overall speed, reaction times, concentration, and discipline as time progresses.
