Westhill Boys Basketball Defeats Trinity Catholic
The 65-57 victory over the Crusaders gives the Vikings the city championship and town bragging rights
Chris Walters erupted for 25 points as the Westhill boys basketball team defeated Trinity Catholic 65-57 on Friday to claim town bragging rights.
It was the seventh win in eight games for the Vikings, who improved to 11-5 overall and 10-4 in the FCIAC. Trinity Catholic dropped to 12-5 and 11-4.
Mark Edwin scored 16 points and Tony Dobbinson added 10 for Westhill, which rallied from a 32-27 halftime deficit by allowing only 25 points in the second half.

Trinity Catholic went scoreless for 5 1/2 minutes after leading 51-47 with under six minutes left in the fourth quarter as the Vikings turned around the game with a 14-0 run.
Jason Boswell scored 20 points and Schadrac Casimir added 14 for the Crusaders. Westhill helped put away the game by shooting 14-of-15 from the foul line.
