Stamford 9, Bridgeport Central 1 -- Lindsey Yanicky had two-run triple for the Black Knights while Krista Robustelli and Melissa King eacjh contributed three hits. King also drove in two runs.

Greenwich 6, Trinity Catholic 4 

Baseball

Darien  4, Westhill 1 (5)

Stamford 11, Bridgeport Central 6 -- Brandon Docimo and Mike Beldotti each collected three hits for the Black Knights.

Trinity Catholic 4, Greenwich 2 -- The Crusaders (8-10) clinched a state tournament berth in a rain-shortened game that was called in the top of the sixth after the Cardinals had rallied to tie the game. But the game reverted to the last completed inning, giving Trinity Catholic the win. Kevin Epp solo homer snapped a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the fourth.

Boys lacrosse

King School 14, Stamford 12 -- Peter O'Connor and Greg Lupinacci each had four goals for the Black Knights.
