Westhill 5, Trumbull 0 -- Allison Macari tossed a three-hitter added two hits for the undefeated Vikings.

 Norwalk 16, Trinity Catholic 10

Stamford,18, Staples 4  -- The Black Knights (11-4) erupted for 12 runs in the bottom of the first, an inning that was capped by Nikki DeFosche's three-run home run. Krista Robustelli also hit a three-run shot, her third in the last week.

Baseball

Trumbull 12, Westhill 9 -- Sam Kosterich and  Andrew Oakes each collected a pair of hits for the Vikings.

Norwalk 17, Trinity Catholic 1

Stamford 8, Staples 7 -- Phil D'Amico singled in the eventual winning run in the top of the seventh.  Brandon Docimo, had three hits, including a three-run homer, and drove in four runs for the Black Knights.
