The 10-year-old District One baseball semifinals will be played Saturday at 10 am.  Chestnut Hill Park will host the game between Wilton and Ridgefield National. Scalzi Park will host the game between Norwalk and North Stamford.

Stamford will have teams in all three Babe Ruth District One finals this weekend.

Matt Fraioli took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and finished with a tw-hitter as the 13s clinched their finals berth with a 7-0 win over Greenwich on Thursday.

The 14s locked up their spot with a 6-3 win over Darien on Thursday and the 15s clinched with a 15-4 win over Greenwich on Wednesday. Stamford teams went 6-0 in the preliminary rounds.

In the District One Little League tournament on Thursday, National Lione defeated North Stamford 4-1 in a battle of unbeatens, Ridgefield American edged Stamford American 9-8 and Springdale downed Northrop 3-1.

Wilton and Darien American have clinched the two semifinal playoff spots out of Pool B while Lione, North Stamford, Redding, Stamford American and Ridgefield American are battling for the two spots in Pool A

-- Westhill defensive back Zach Emilcer and Stamford defensive lineman Mark Robinson are on the final roster for the Fairfield County All-Stars, who will take on New Haven County in the 15th annual Hall of Fame Classic on Friday at West Haven's Ken Strong Stadium (7 p.m.)

There were some last-minute additions as the coaching staff scrambled to fill roster spots after a number players pulled out due to other commitment. The final roster was pared from 45 to 32 players.
