So far it seems to be shaping up that way: Just hours after starting tailback and Norwalk resident announced that he was , junior linebacker and former King Low-Heywood Thomas School classmate reportedly announced his decision to transfer to the University of California.
According to a report in the Huffington Post, Fortt announced his decision to transfer on Tuesday. He had already been identified as one of the top players who might transfer in the wake of last week's NCAA sanctions, which allow Penn State players to do so without penalty.

Fortt, a native of Stamford, played in every game for Nittany Lions last year, finishing the season with 33 tackles (six for loss) and 2.5 sacks, according to an article in Sports World Report.
Safety Tim Buckley, a second stringer, was the first player to announce his transfer. He announced on Monday that he will go play for North Carolina State this fall.
