Black Knights outscore Crusaders 28-0 in the second half to improve to 3-2, Trinity Catholic drops to 2-3
Quarterback Bryan Boderick rushing for 240 yards Friday as the Stamford football team pulled away in the second half to rout city rival Trinity Catholic 42-16 at Robustelli Field.
A pair of short touchdown runs by Jeff Cortese helped the Crusaders grab a 16-14 halftime lead, but the second half belonged to Boderick and the Black Knights.
Stamford outscored Trinity Catholic 28-0 in the second half to improve to 3-2 while the Crusaders dropped to 2-3.

After Trinity Catholic jumped out to a 13-0 lead, Boderick scored on a 33-yard TD, then tossed a 12-yard TD pass to his brother Barry to put Stamford up 14-13.
John Benalcazar booted a 28-yard field goal to give Trinity Catholic its 16-14 halftime lead, but Chandler Foster's 3-yard TD run put Stamford up 21-16 after three.

The Black Knights broke it open with 21 points in the fourth quarter, starting with Byran Boderick's 18-yard TD.
After Cameron Webb broke off a 69-yard TD burst, Bryan Boderick capped the scoring with a 13-yard TD strike to Jake Demetros.
