In the East where yoga originated, it was predominantly practiced by men. In the West yoga is predominantly practiced by women, though more and more men are finding the benefits of yoga. Surveys have shown that men would like to try yoga for the physical and mind health benefits, but are reluctant to go to a general class with mostly women in the group. This class provides a safe haven for men to start or continue their practice of yoga. This class has been designed for men, targeting the specific areas where we tend to be tight. Come find the health benefits, come find peace and relaxation from the stress and tension of our everyday life.
Come and join us to practice the ancient art of yoga in the serene surroundings of the Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens.
***All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners***
