Race Against Lyme 5k
Dust off your running shoes…lace up your walking shoes and cue the kids for a Sunday morning of spring exercise and fun at beautiful Cove Island Park in Stamford! Time for Lyme’s first 5k Walk/Run, will be held at Cove Island Park, Stamford CT, April 29th, 2012, rain or shine. Start and finish will be inside Cove Island Park, taking in a flat 5k neighborhood loop on local roads. Children will have a chance to race on a loop course of their own inside Cove Island Park. This is a wonderful opportunity to form a team and encourage your friends to sponsor your run or walk, with a donation to to help find a cure for Lyme disease. All registrants will be provided with a personal online fund-raising page where you can post a personal appeal letter and monitor incoming donations.
All funds will go toward Time for Lyme's programs for medical research and education on Lyme disease.
