Westhill High Athletic Director Takes Job in Trumbull
New AD Michael King comes to Trumbull from a Stamford high school.
Trumbull Public Schools have appointed Michael King to following in the footsteps of outgoing Athletic Director Michael Herbst.
King joins Trumbull after serving as AD of Westhill High School in Stamford since 2002.
King received his Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College, Springfield, Mass.; a Master of Physical Education degree from Springfield College; and an additional Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn.
“King was most impressive in a series of interviews, which included a committee consisting of representation from the staff, parents and community members,” Trumbull Superintendent Gary Cialfi said in a release Wednesday.
King and Herbst will begin the transition in June.
