Underground Investigation

Working in the new Children’s Classroom you will have an opportunity to learn about the world beneath our feet.  What is a decomposer?  Why is soil so important to plants and to people?  How does a worm move?  What other animals live underground.  Participants will use microscopes, dig in our worm bin, meet a rainforest decomposer and plant a bulb to take home for the winter months. Members Free, Non-members $6 per adult, Children Free. For more information, call 203-322-6971, visit www.bartlettarboretum.org or e-mail admin@bartlettarboretum.org
