Why wouldn't all community events, recurring or special (singular), appear on a community calendar? What's the problem here?

Och Aye, Tattie Salad. It's fine tae ken fit's gyan on in the area. I get my hometown paper sent to me. It has all the Church services from the Salvation Army to the Wee Frees. I dinna see the bother. I'm no going to be converted by anybody an they're all part of the town. Even the pubs advertise in the paper.

I am not religious at all, but I appreciate St. Alban's being a valuable part of the Albany community. They stepped up to host the recent City Council Candidates' forum, which helped many of us hear from the candidates on issues and speak with them afterwards. I, for one, am more than happy to read about community events of all types on Patch and decide for myself whether I am interested in attending or not.

So, if we're playing that game Mr. Barnes, can I request freedom FROM the homophobia of the Boy Scouts & request that they not be allowed to post any events here on Patch? No? Why not? Because that's ridiculous and inflammatory and not directly related to the issue at hand? Oh... kind of like your comment. Yes, I see now.

I am just glad to see church’s trying to step up and being the hands and feet of Christ. Whether you are religious or not we still need to show love. Thank you for being the light of the world and hopefully many will come to know Christ. ________________________________________ Find a Career College near you, www.americolleges.com
