"Mongolia: The Legacy of Genghis Khan in the 21st Century"

The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors’ Roundtable series breakfast presentation by Dr. Christopher Atwood on Mongolia: The Legacy of Genghis Khan in the 21st Century. This event will take place at the Stamford Yacht Club on April 11, 2012.

Chair of Central Eurasian Studies at Indiana University, Dr. Atwood’s research, courses and interests revolve around Mongolia.  He is currently focused on the intersection of lineage-building, state-building, and history-writing in the Mongol empire. Dr. Atwood is currently writing two manuscripts that he plans to evolve into books and has several other pieces published.

The cost for the breakfast and presentation is free for AR series members and $45 for the general public. The event will start at 7:15 A.M. with coffee and networking followed by a full breakfast buffet at 7:30. The presentation will begin at 8 A.M. and Dr. Atwood will take questions.
