How to Make a Company's Online Presence More Effective

WHAT:

First County Bank and the University of Connecticut Stamford campus will host a free business workshop on making companies’ online presence more effective. 

Most companies have Websites.  Some companies have even delved into social media.  And yet some Websites are better than others.  The public is invited to participate in an informative and interactive business workshop on ways to improve one’s Website and online presence.  This workshop is designed to show business owners how to make their site more effective.

Kevin E. McEvoy, Instructor in Residence, marketing department

UConn Stamford Campus, will discuss the impact of online marketing and how e-marketing tools help increase awareness and sales for businesses.

Tim J. Dowding, Ph.D. CDR USNR (Ret.), Professor-in-Residence, operations and information management department UConn Stamford Campus, will discuss the different roles Websites and social media have on a company’s business goals.  He also will explain why some Websites and social media initiatives attract attention.

Rey Giallongo, Chairman and CEO First County Bank, will host the workshop.
