Astronomy Nights: NuSTAR’S Wild Universe: Supernovae and Black Holes.

Join NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Jason Kendall as he talks about the biggest explosions in the universe and amazing and mysterious black holes.  We'll hear about how we see these beasts in invisible light with the NuSTAR mission, NASA's next space-based X-Ray telescope.  We'll also see how NuSTAR will study supernovae: exploding and dying stars. Following the presentation, view the night sky through our 22-inch telescope. Members: Free/Non-Members: Adults $3, Children (5-17) $2. Program suitable for ages 5 and older.
