Please Pray With Me Right Now For The People Of Oklahoma, Whatever Your Faith Tradition

We are witness to the awesome power of the elements...and to the fact that we are but a small and insignificant 'blip' on a global map in a huge universe.

But, please.  There are people who need us.  They need us in every way possible and that includes needing our prayers.

So, those of you so-inclined, whatever your faith, please join me in prayer for those in Oklahoma suffering from extreme weather in the form of tornadoes.  Pray with me now:

Lord God, hear our prayer.  We are small and cannot fathom the extent of the powers confronting us.

Please let us be the best that we can be to selflessly help those who have suffered loss, and let us be ever mindful that we 'are' our brothers and sisters keepers everywhere.

Remind us to truly 'care' and to put our emotions into action by volunteering  in very real ways in the best ways that we can.

Holy God -- we pray for those lost, beaten, battered and brought low by this 'natural disaster', and especially for the children who we know are with You now.

Guide us, comfort us and console us, our Creator, as we pray these things in our individual traditions,

Which for Christians is in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
