What Would You Say to Gov. Malloy?

Two Stamford residents tell Gov. Malloy what's on their minds.

When Gov. Dannel Malloy for a Town Hall meeting to discuss his proposed state budget, he was very warmly received, yet was asked some pretty tough questions by Stamford residents.

Monique Thomas, who's running in a special election to fill Carlo Leone's State Representative seat in the 148th district, had a slightly heated exchange with Malloy at the meeting when she described her "Tax Payers Protection Pledge" to not vote for any legislation that would increase or create taxes. In the video above, Monique tells Patch what she thought of Malloy's response to her remarks.

Unlike Thomas, Stamford resident and business owner Jere Eaton didn't get a chance to ask Malloy a question, but took the opportunity to express her views with Patch.
