Stamford WPCA Board Approves 1 Percent Hike in Sewer Fees

Providing the user charge increase is approved next month, following a public hearing, WPCA customers will pay $3.89 for every 100 cubic feet of water used, according to a report in the Stamford Advocate.

's Board of Directors has reportedly approved a sewer tax increase of 1 percent for next fiscal year.

Providing the user charge increase is approved next month, following a public hearing, customers will pay $3.89 for every 100 cubic feet of water used, according to a report in the Stamford Advocate. That would raise the average sewer bill by $3.06 per year, to $397, according to the report.

The new fee would be reflected in customers' Oct. 15 bills.
