Stamford Snow Emergency Ends Wednesday Evening

Stamford Director of Operations Ernie Orgera announced Wednesday morning that Mayor David Martin's snow emergency declaration would end at 6 p.m. the evening of Wednesday, January 22, 2014.

Because of the declaration, it pushes the schedule for garbage and recycling pickup back one day of the week. Those who would normally have trash picked up Wednesday should put it out Thursday, and so on.

All vehicles should remain off emergency snow routes until 6 p.m. Routes are marked by red and white signage, but included below is a list compiled yesterday of all snow routes in the city.
