The Stamford Police Association has endorsed Michael Pollard (D) for election as State Representative in the 144th District. Pollard, a former chairman of the Stamford Board of Finance currently serves on the State Board of Regents for Higher Education and the Criminal Justice Information Systems Commission.
“Michael Pollard has shown a true commitment to public safety through his service on both the city and state levels,” said Sgt. Joseph Kennedy, president of the Stamford Police Association. “While chairman of the Stamford Board of Finance, Michael Pollard led the fight against budget cuts that would negatively impact public safety.”
Mr. Pollard is a senior partner and co-founder of Optul Global Services, a small business consulting firm.
