Stamford Dems, GOP Hold Nominating Conventions on Same Night
Nominations were considered and voted upon for city and state level representatives and positions.
The Stamford Democratic Party and the Stamford Republican Party decided to hold their nominating conventions on the same night. On opposite sides of the Stamford Government Center's second floor, GOP and Democrats went over lists of possible nominations.
Below are most of those nominations. A "*" denotes an incumbent.

Arrangements were made to have nomination lists provided after the fact—particularly the state-level nominations of the Republican party—but by publication time, those lists had not been provided.
