State Representative Willaim Tong announced his decision to run for Stamford highest political position Monday.
Tong announced his decision to run at Sorrento's Pizza on Stamford's High Ridge Rd. He said he was exicted to bring Stamford's various groups together to make it the "best small city" in America.
He said his first 100 days in office would be filled with town hall-style meetings to discuss affordability and livability in Stamford, and by the end of his first year, a task force formed based on those ideas formed in each of Stamford's neighborhoods, made up by city residents.
