Welcome to "Minutes with the Mayor," a weekly video feature where Stamford Patch interviews Mayor Michael Pavia about the issues facing the city, what topics government boards and committees will be discussing and what scheduled events city residents need to know about.
This week, Pavia addresses the speculation that global financial services firm is getting ready to moves its headquarters out of Stamford and back to Manhattan. He also gave residents a look at the piece of the World Trade Center that was given to the city by the Port Authority of NY & NJ. The piece will be incorporated into a monument to be built in time for the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
