Stamford Democratic mayoral candidate David Martin officially opened his campaign headquarters in the city this past weekend.
Located at 159 West Main Street, Martin said the headquarters is vital to his election efforts this season.
"It's a very good space, we've really built it all up," Martin said. "I think it's important to make a statement with presence. It's a great place for the volunteers to gather and work together. We're making great progress."
Party nominations will come down mid-July, with necessary primaries to take place in September. This year marks Martin's second run for the position. He said he's feeling pretty good about the race so far.
"I'm feeling good and confident about the nomination," Martin said.
