City of Stamford Issued Winter Storm Advisory
The NWS has issued Winter Weather Advisories for multiple counties.
The National Weather Service has issued Winter Weather Advisories for Fairfield, New Haven and Middlesex Counties, a Winter Storm Warning for New London County and a Winter Storm Watch for Windham County, according to the latest posts on the City of Stamford government website.
The site reads the impact on the afternoon commute will be minimal, with only wet roads, but "wet snow developing this evening and becoming steadier along the coast by 8:00 p.m. and inland by 11:00 p.m." is expected.
The notice also says confidence in the forecast is only "fair" at this time, and even a degree or two of change in the temperature could shift the level of accumulating snowfall dramatically.
