Rosa DeLauro (D): The long-time incumbent recently put her political clout behind fellow Democrat Chris Murphy, who is running for Senate. “I don’t just want Chris in the Senate, I need him there as my partner to fight back against Republicans that want to take women’s rights back to 1950,” she said in a statement. “I can’t think of a fight more necessary to take  

Wayne Winsley (R) wished America a happy birthday for the Fourth of July. He released an opinion piece saying that people should work to “steer away from the tumult of tyranny.”

Fourth District

Jim Himes (D) toured Fairfield County for a pair of town hall-style meetings, and his final stop is at the in Shelton on Saturday, July 7, at 1 p.m. The address is 41 Church St.

Steve Obsitnik (R): With the election several months away, the candidate announced a to help get the vote out.

Fifth District

An investigation into campaign finance malfeasance has cleared Chris Donovan. According to the Associated Press, his Republican opponents Mark Greenberg and Andrew Roraback still criticized Donovan's management.
