Woman Faces Prescription Forgery Charges

Greenwich Police say the suspect is accused of successfully passing the forged scripts for narcotic prescriptions in Greenwich and Stamford.

 

A 28-year-old woman was arrested by Greenwich Police who obtained an arrest warrant charging with nine instances of prescription forgery at pharmacies in Greenwich and Stamford.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Cassandra M. Austin-Small, of 3 Bates Ln., Bedford, NY, was arrested Monday on nine counts each of second-degree forgery, second-degree criminal impersonation and second-degree illegal possession of a controlled drug.

"The accused successfully obtained narcotic prescriptions by means of fraud on nine separate occasions at local pharmacies in Greenwich and Stamford," according to the report. The incidents apparently occurred in February. Further details were not provided.

Austin-Small was released on a written promise to appear April 8 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
