VIDEO: Cove Road Easter Armed Robbery

Police have released photos and video of a Cove Road variety store armed robbery.

Stamford police released Tuesday photos and video of a harrowing armed robbery that occurred at a Cove Road variety store on Easter night.

Police identified the store as the Cove Variety located at 861 Cove Road. They said the incident occurred Sunday, March 31, at approximately 8:20 p.m.

A trio of armed assailants can be seen in the video above armed with a gun, knife and what police believe to be a canister of pepper spray, or Cap Stun. The suspects force their way behind the counter and take an unspecified amount of cash from the register. They also take a number of easily-accessible items from around the store.
