Two Stamford High Students Struck by Vehicle

The students were at the intersection of Hoyt St. and Strawberry Hill Ave. when the accident occurred.

Two Stamford High students were struck by a vehicle at at the intersection of Hoyt St. and Strawberry Hill Ave. at approximately 12:30 p.m., Director of Public Relations Sarah Arnold confirmed Thursday afternoon.

The principal of the high school, Donna Valentine, was at the hospital, in the ER with the students. Valentine reported to Arnold that the students were conscious and their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

The names and ages of the male students have not been released yet.

"Thankfully, the boys are at the hospital and they are conscious and look like they're going to be okay. That's the most important part," Arnold said.
