[Update]] Two Stamford Fire Departments Handle Two Car Collision

Stamford's fire departments cooperated in performing a two-car rescue on Sunday.

Update, Monday 3:45 p.m.

The Long Ridge Fire Department has not released information regarding the status of a victim extricated during a Cadillac-Lexus collision rescue at the intersection of Long Ridge Road and Partridge Road on Sunday, but suggest that the victim's injuries may be "substantial."

"It was not a two-or-three minute job; it was an extended rescue," LRFC's Daniel Dauplaise told Patch. According to Dauplaise, in situations where a accident victim must cut from the vehicle, their injuries are usually severe.
