Two Men Arrested for Smashing Windshield in Cell Phone Dispute

Norwalk resident Brandon Roe and Westport resident Ronald Marsilio were arrested after allegedly smashing the windshield of a car belonging to Marsilio's girlfriend.

Two men were arrested in front of the early Monday morning following a dispute with the ex-girlfriend of one of the suspects, which resulted in a smashed windshield, according to police.

Ronald Marsilio, 22, of 10 Buff Point Road, Westport, according to police, who was in an ongoing dispute with his girlfriend over a cell phone that he claimed she stole, saw the victim driving in her car on Magee Avenue late Sunday evening. Police said that Marsilio got into a vehicle with Michael Roe, 20, of 79 North Water St., Norwalk, and began to follow her.

According to the police report, the victim realized that she was being followed and started driving towards the police station. When she stopped at a red light, police said, Roe got out of the vehicle, walked up to the victim's car and smashed her windshield with a tire iron. The victim proceeded to drive to the police station while Noe and Marsilio followed. The two suspects were apprehended upon arriving to the station.

Marsilio was charged with reckless driving and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief. Roe was charge with second-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment.
